“Seeing the Star, Their Joy Knew No Bounds!”
Want a more exciting Christmas? Well, reading this little book will get that for you. This isn’t done with some new ways to decorate your home, or with some wonderful Christmas recipes. Instead, what this book does is to daily decorate you on the inside for Christmas–to prepare you, heart and soul, for celebrating the birth of Christ.
Starting with December first, and continuing through December thirty-first, there is a daily scripture along with an interesting commentary that makes each day’s subject really come alive. Each verse is also elaborated on in a variety of ways–through the use of poems, the words of Christmas Carols, or beautiful pictures. The end result being your thoughts will be drawn in to really consider the essence of each day’s verse.
The daily readings don’t take very long to read, just a few minutes out of the day. But that short time will enhance the Christmas season for the reader. Each section will give you something to mull over in your mind, and make the arrival of Christmas Day more meaningful.
This well-made small, hardback book with high quality paper makes a very nice presentation, and because of that, would also make a lovely gift. I like that the devotions don’t stop on Christmas day, but continue on through December 31st, New Year’s Eve. By doing that, not only is your heart prepared for Christmas, but is made ready for a new year, as well.
I highly recommend this 5-plus star book to anyone who wants to decorate differently for this year’s Christmas–from the inside out.
“Then the star appeared again, the same star they had seen in the eastern skies. It led them on until it hovered over the place of the child. They could hardly contain themselves: They were in the right place! They had arrived at the right time!” Matthew 2:10
