“Spirit-Empowered Theology” by Charles Carrin, D. D.

The Answers to All Your Questions—About Christianity!

Ever question why Easter is on a different Sunday each year, and wondered how the date for Easter Sunday is figured?  Or have you been curious if Christians can be possessed by demons?  For answers to those questions plus 298 more, look no further than this book.  This volume is a real treasure of Christian answers to a wide variety of subjects.

This book contains 18 sections that range from “Who is God?” to “What gifts does the Holy Spirit impart to believers?”  Within each of those divisions are the 300 questions.  After deciding which query to learn about, go to the page number and get your question answered.  The responses are very clear, concise, and written on a layperson’s level. The answers vary in size from just a few paragraphs to a couple of pages.

Spirit-Empowered Theology is easy to use and is a treasure of information.  Couple that with this book’s easy to understand answers and this is a real winner.  You will find yourself looking up one question, and once answered, looking up another that has caught your curiosity.  It is very addicting.  I highly recommend this 5-star book to anyone who has ever had a question about Christianity.

Charles Carrin is a well respected pastor who has been in the ministry for more than 65 years.  In his formative years, he was taught the gifts of the Holy Spirit were not for today.  He taught that for many years until he experienced a personal crisis and sought out the Holy Spirit for himself.  Since then, he has been a firm believer that the Holy Spirit’s gifts are for today.  This book is written from that viewpoint.
