Hardships Bless You

Have you had lots of hardships in life?  Dr. Hamon has and believes we are tried by fire to conform us to the way God wants us.  He gives many examples of this happening throughout his long lifetime and ministry—including the death of his wife.

Instead of asking why when difficulties strike, believe the promises of God.  He suggests using your energy for standing on scriptures such as these:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done….”  Genesis 50:20

The author believes by giving up fighting against bad things that happened to him, he has become more at peace and assured of God’s hand on him.  Letting go of anxiety and fear along with giving into God’s will allows Him (God) to accomplish His purpose in our lives—and we will be blessed by it.  Dr. Hamon cautions it may take lots of time to see the good come of it, so it is important not to lose faith.

Some of the points and conclusions made are different than mine, but the author makes a good case for his position in this 5-star book.
