How Christmas Really Began!
While a family is preparing for Christmas, the dad tells why we celebrate this holiday. Brightly colored illustrations show Mary and Joseph making their way to Bethlehem. Later the birth of Jesus takes place while surrounded by animals. Angels sing glad tidings of his birth as shepherds listen in their fields.
As the family puts together a creche manger, the dad explains that Christmas is a birthday, it is that of Jesus. That is why we give presents at Christmas, because we are celebrating Jesus’ birth.
This five-star board book is sure to be a favorite of children up to five years-old. It is told with the miracles and wonders of the event, but in words a small child will understand. Remember the true meaning of Christmas with this book. I highly recommend it.
