“Maisy’s Snowy Day” by Lucy Cousins

Snow Fun!

Maisy wakes up to find her world has been transformed by snow.  When she goes outside, she discovers how cold it is, but also the fun of snow sledding.  Maisy goes to the park where she finds many of her friends playing.  As the group works together, they create a fort, and a snow statue.  They have a good time racing their sleds.

After a full day, the dark and cold cause the friends to leave the park, but the pleasure continues as everyone goes to Maisy’s house to get warm.

Most children are fascinated with snow whether they have seen it or not.  This picture book will be well-liked because of the snow subject.  Little ones will love seeing the pictures of sledding, building things and just playing in all that cold wetness.  Colorful illustrations will bring the children’s activities alive.  This five-star tale will be a popular choice for children aged three through seven-years-old.
