Hit the Road!
Are you ready for adventure?
The author, Priscilla Smiley, certainly is. She did not have the opportunity to travel growing up, but has changed that since becoming an adult. In less than five years, she has traveled to over twenty-five different countries. Now, in this easy to read book, she wants to share all the valuable information she has gathered from her worldwide travels. Armed with her suggestions, you can have a wonderful trip whether it is a couple of days in your own country, or multiple weeks on the other side of the globe.
Wait, before you pack your bags, do this:
Read the author’s Tips, along with her Dos and Don’ts of Traveling. Much good information can be gleaned from them. For instance, she advises checking out the weather conditions at the location you will be visiting beforehand. That way, the appropriate type of clothing will be packed. Otherwise, one runs the risk of getting stuck wasting time and money purchasing weather appropriate clothing when reaching your destination. She also lists many ways to earn frequent flyer miles, as well as, discounts on hotels, restaurants and excursions.
Ms. Smiley encourages everyone to travel, even if they are going to go solo. Don’t let lack of traveling companions keep you home. Whether traveling alone or with others, always make sure there is at least one person who knows where you will be every day, and has a copy of your itinerary. Leaving a copy of your passport with someone before departing is also a good idea.
Bon Voyage!
Whether one wants to travel with a tour group, cruise in an ocean liner or go on a road trip, this 5-star book has some information and tips that can make your trip better. Most of all, the author wants everyone to put safety first, while still enjoying a wonderful trip.
