“Jesus on Display with Love and Power” by Brian Blount

You will do Greater Things….

Do you want to see amazing things take place?  It can happen if you trust Jesus and step out in faith.  Brian Blount has spent many years doing that while ministering inside churches and out on the street.  He gives examples of the many miracles he has witnessed.

Sometimes it is not easy.  The author tells of being in a foreign country, and having people loudly make fun of him when he asked if anyone wanted prayer.  When he felt God direct him to pray for a young boy, that child not only trusted Jesus as his savior, but also became a soul winner.

If Brian had done the comfortable thing and walked away when the jeering began, he would have missed out on leading that boy to Christ, a young soul who had recently tried to commit suicide.

Be aware that all kinds of doubts and negative scenarios will come to your mind when you consider praying for others.  Do not let the devil discourage you. There may even be times your prayer does not get answered.  Those are things we don’t understand, “God’s thoughts are not our thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8.  But do not give up, or quit believing it is God’s will to heal and perform wonders.

This is an encouraging book that will lift you up and strengthen your faith.  Specific suggestions are given to use when praying for someone else. I recommend this 5-star book to all who want to hear of the Lord’s goodness in our current day.
