compares the happy feeling that comes from hearing Christmas carols to the joy Mary felt inside herself when hearing about Jesus. By doing that, this narrative becomes very real to both the child, as well as, the one doing the reading.
I wasn’t prepared for how beautiful and delightful this book would be, it was a real pleasure to view. From the first look at the cover, to the surprise of finding flaps that reveal letters underneath, reading this book is a memorable adventure. The simple, but complete, retelling of the Christmas story, along with the enchanting illustrations, will make all hearts ready for this special time of the year. I would highly recommend Christmas Love Letters for every child as a five-plus star book that will become a staple for years to come.
