I can’t stand cabbage, but I love this. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) package gluten free shaped pasta*
- 1 cup butter, no substitutions**
- 1/2 medium head cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3-4 teaspoons chopped garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the cabbage, onion, and garlic, and season with salt and pepper. Sauté 15 minutes, or until the cabbage and onion are tender.
- In a large bowl, toss together the cooked pasta and the cabbage mixture. Serve warm.
*I like bow ties but use shape of your choice.
**It is very important real butter is used, not margarine or anything else.
