“Which Shape Should I Be?” by Pamela Kennedy

Illustrated by Holli Conger

That’s the Shape!

Get ready for some fun with this interactive board book.  This well-made volume will make it a pleasure to learn nine shapes that range from hearts to squares to stars.  Inviting illustrations by Holli Conger have bright colors that will attract children.  Each page with a shape has instructions to find it along with directions such as: use a finger to trace it, or point to a particular place.Kids up to age four will have a great time searching, touching and acting out the pictures while becoming familiar with different shapes.  Join in the fun by doing it along with the little ones.  Then be prepared for lots of giggles and requests to read this tale over and over. The book also ties together the idea that there are a variety of shapes in the world, with each of us a different one—and God has picked out the perfect shape for us all!  In other words:

“I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made.” Psalm 139:14
